Widely regarded as one of South Africa’s most accomplished producers, Helena Spring has produced 30 motion pictures - including the first South African film to be nominated in the best foreign language category at the Academy Awards, the Independent Spirit Awards and for an international Emmy. She has also produced 6 of South Africa’s all-time top ten box office successes.

An award-winning film director whose first four films have already made a strong contribution to the South African industry. A gifted performance director he is also admired for his distinctive style in visual choreography and is already attracting international attention. Poppie Nongena is his fourth and most ambitious film project to date. It delves deeply into his favourite subjects, the human psyche and the power of women.

Journalist, theatre producer and playwright. She has written for the journals Insig and LitNet, been organiser of theatre for festivals such as the KKNK and the Woordfees. She was awarded the Fleur du Cap in the category Best New Indiginous Script, 2007.

Vicci Turpin started out in the industry working for fashion photographer Louis Fouche. In the features world, she worked her way up through the ranks on set to become a Director of Photography, specialising in under water sequences. Alongside her commercials directing career, she is one of the leading DOPs in South Africa with a showreel that includes many award-winning commercials and feature films.

Roelof Storm studied drama at the University of Cape Town. In 2013 he was nominated as the Most Promising Student by the Fleur du Cap Awards. He has appeared in various theatre productions and feature films. He is currently concentrating on film production.

Surisa Surisa is a Property Master, Art Director and Set Decorator based in South Africa with over 52 films and TV series plus 41 commercials to her credit.
